Meet the Doctor

Dr. Whitney Frank

I grew up in Post Falls and feel blessed to be part of this community. North Idaho is a special place. I love the people, the lakes, the seasons, and the proximity to my family.

I graduated from University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2008 and then completed an additional year of advanced education treating patients in the Emergency Room and Operating Room settings at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.

In 2010, I returned to Post Falls, joining this practice with my father, Dr. Richard Gibbon. When my father passed away the next year, I felt compelled to continue the practice in the same manner that earned the trust and respect of so many in the community. The two main principles that guided my father’s life and his 37-year dental career were service and integrity. He was straight-forward, honest, and fair with patients, and he did every procedure with uncompromising quality. So, with his legacy in mind, we are a family-operated practice caring for families in our area, and our guiding principles are servanthood and integrity.

In my free time, I enjoy North Idaho with my husband and our daughters (born in 2012 and 2014). I love triathlon training, travelling, camping, reading, and monitoring my fantasy football team. I am a member of the ADA and the Academy of General Dentistry and have a special interest in oral-systemic health connections.
